We build the systems behind asset intensive transport operations, from aircraft maintenance to the passenger's ticket.
Timestamp works with organisations that move people and goods, and with those that keep the fleets doing it airworthy and available. Aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul. Rail passenger operations. Fleet lifecycle, asset traceability, crew and workforce planning, and the commercial systems that carry a journey from purchase to arrival.
We bring this work together into a single dedicated practice: Aeronautics and Transportation. Two markets with different regulators and different vocabularies, but the same underlying problem. Expensive assets that cannot be unavailable, operations planned to the minute, and a customer whose experience is decided by whether the plan held.
In aeronautics the constraint is certification and availability. Every component has a history, every intervention has to be traceable, and an aircraft out of service is capital standing still. In transportation the constraint is the timetable and the passenger. Capacity has to be planned, crews assigned, disruptions absorbed, and the traveller informed before they have to ask.
What the two share is that the operational system and the commercial system cannot be strangers to each other. Maintenance decides available capacity. Available capacity decides what can be sold. What is sold decides what the passenger expects. Timestamp works across that whole chain, implementing MRO and asset platforms on one side, passenger and commercial platforms on the other, and the integration that lets each one know what the other is doing.
End to end digitalisation of aeronautical maintenance with IFS Cloud, as a certified IFS partner. MRO management, work order planning and execution, component and serial number traceability, and the documentary trail that certification requires. Migration from legacy maintenance systems without interrupting hangar operations.
Salesforce for passenger relationship management, customer service and commercial operations. Loyalty programme design and centralisation. Congress, group and event booking management. Omnichannel passenger communication over SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, email and Viber, including ticket delivery straight into the traveller's digital wallet. Service disruption communication at scale.
Fleet lifecycle management across aircraft, rolling stock and road fleets. Preventive and predictive maintenance planning. Spare parts and inventory management for maintenance operations. Asset performance monitoring. Procurement and supplier management for a regulated supply chain.
Enterprise resource planning and financial management on Oracle and SAP platforms. Enterprise Performance Management for budgeting and consolidation. Human Capital Management and payroll for operational workforces, including shift, crew and depot based structures. Service management platforms for internal user support at scale.
Integration between operational, maintenance and commercial systems, which is where most of the value in this sector is trapped. Business intelligence and analytics for operational and commercial decisions. Cloud migration. Managed services with defined SLAs. Software quality assurance and testing for systems where a failed release has a public consequence.
Real MRO delivery, not adjacent experience
We digitalised aeronautical maintenance end to end for OGMA on IFS Cloud, covering MRO management, traceability and operational efficiency. MRO is a domain where generic ERP experience does not transfer, and we have done the work.
The whole passenger journey, not one screen of it
With Renfe we digitalised congress and event management and centralised the loyalty programme on Salesforce. In a separate passenger rail project, delivering tickets directly into digital wallets improved the customer experience by 45 per cent, raised passenger confidence by 30 per cent and cut incidents and information requests by 20 per cent.
We understand what asset intensive means
Availability, traceability and certification are not features to be configured at the end of a project. They shape the architecture from the first workshop. Our delivery is planned around maintenance windows and operating calendars, not around our own schedule.
Iberian coverage across both markets
Aeronautical maintenance experience in Portugal and passenger rail experience in Spain, with teams in both countries. Local delivery for the operation, group level capability for the corporate systems.
Maintenance, repair and overhaul organisations that need work order control, component traceability and certification evidence in a single system, without losing hangar throughput during the transition.
Operators balancing fleet availability against schedule commitments, who need maintenance planning, procurement and commercial systems that share the same view of the aircraft.
Airport operators and ground handling organisations where infrastructure, contact centre operations and real time coordination determine the passenger experience on the ground.
Rail companies managing rolling stock maintenance, capacity planning, loyalty programmes, ticketing channels and passenger communication across an extensive service network.
Organisations operating vehicle fleets at scale, where maintenance cost, vehicle availability and route planning sit on the same balance sheet line as service quality.
Operators moving goods across modes, who need traceability, documentation and customer visibility to hold together across handovers between carriers.
To support aeronautics and transport organisations in their digital transformation, contributing to higher fleet availability, more reliable operations and a passenger experience that reflects the quality of the operation behind it.
With experienced teams, reference technology partners and delivery in both maintenance and commercial systems, we help these organisations modernise without putting availability or safety at risk.
Reliability
An aircraft on the ground and a cancelled service both have a cost that is measured in public. Every project is designed with operational continuity as a founding requirement, not as a secondary consideration.
Rigour
Traceability, certification evidence and regulatory compliance are built into the solution, not added once the system is live.
Integration
Transport operations depend on data split between maintenance, operations and commercial systems. Our approach always starts with the integration architecture, which is what guarantees consistency and visibility.
Value
Our projects stay focused on client impact, justifying the investment they represent.
Long-term partnership
Many of our clients in this sector have worked with us for more than a decade. We build relationships based on consistent service delivery and the ability to follow the evolution of each operation.
