Through its partnership with Orange Empresas, Timestamp developed the SITAR 2.0 project for the Government of Aragón: a Single Tourism Query Point for Turismo de Aragón. The solution is centred on a generative AI-based assistant (LLM), capable of answering any query about tourism in the region in natural language.
The platform integrates multiple data sources into a Semantic Data Lake and turns complex data into accessible, immediate and strategic knowledge.
In addition, SITAR 2.0 was recognised at the latest Digital Tourist 2026 with the Award for Best Digital Destination Governance, for the development of Aragón’s Tourism Intelligence System.
Aragón is a destination that was not included in the allocation of European funds to connect to the national Smart Destinations Platform (PID). A scalable and replicable alternative was therefore needed, capable of unifying access to tourism information without depending on that connection.
Accessing tourism data required navigating multiple tools and scattered sources, making analysis and decision-making more difficult. The goal was to offer users a single, intuitive and conversational way to obtain contextualised answers in real time.
Portfolio
The solution incorporates a generative AI-based assistant capable of answering questions in natural language about tourism flows, visitor profiles and trends.
The system combines models such as OpenAI or Mistral, semantic search with Qdrant and PostgreSQL databases, orchestrated through n8n and exposed through Angular and Apache Superset.
