Timestamp is supporting a leading multinational tobacco company in the integration of new operations into its corporate SAP S/4HANA On-Premise platform.
The project includes adapting global processes to the legal and local requirements of each market, data migration, testing and user preparation, as part of an international rollout covering the United States, Egypt, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
Integrating new entities that had not previously worked with SAP into a common SAP S/4HANA platform involves a significant transformation of processes, tools and ways of working. One of the main challenges is therefore ensuring adoption of the new system and preparing users for the new processes.
At the same time, data migration requires rigorous transformation and mapping of existing information into the new data structure, while the legal and specific requirements of each market need to be aligned with the organisation’s global model.
An international SAP S/4HANA rollout designed to integrate new operations, accommodate local requirements and ensure a controlled transition to the global corporate model.
FIT-GAP analyses to identify specific legal, tax and operational requirements in each market and determine the adaptations required in relation to the global model.
Configuration and development of the identified specific requirements, extending corporate SAP S/4HANA functionalities to the new entities and Company Codes.
Preparation of user testing, training and support throughout the different stages of the project, from the FIT-GAP process through to solution validation, facilitating knowledge acquisition and the adoption of new processes and tools.
Preparation and execution of data migration, cutover activities and post-go-live support, including assistance during the first two monthly closing cycles.
