Timestamp strengthens its growth in Spain with a new office in Barcelona

Viladecans (Barcelona), 13 October 2026 – Timestamp, a Portuguese multinational specialising in technology consulting, systems integration and digital transformation, has inaugurated its new office in the Barcelona metropolitan area. This move reflects the sustained growth of its team in Spain, where the company ended September with more than 455 professionals.

Recruitment has more than doubled

The company's growth in Spain is reflected in its recruitment figures. Timestamp hired 56 professionals in 2022, 70 in 2023, 99 in 2024 and 123 in 2025, more than double the figure recorded three years earlier. So far in 2026, the company has already welcomed 110 new employees. This expansion in Spain mirrors the group's overall growth, with its global workforce expected to reach 1,400 professionals by the end of the year.

Madrid, with around 200 professionals, remains the company's largest hub in Spain. Barcelona now has approximately 150 employees and is one of its fastest-growing operations, having welcomed more than 100 professionals over the past four years.

From Spain, Timestamp works with organisations across banking, insurance, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing and the public sector, providing technology consulting services in areas including artificial intelligence and data, systems integration, process automation, cloud solutions and programmable messaging.

First company to establish a presence at Viladecans Digital Hub

The new 1,000-square-metre office replaces the company's previous premises in Barcelona. With this move, Timestamp becomes the first company to occupy building A3, the first completed building within Viladecans Digital Hub, also known as Illa A.

Viladecans Digital Hub is the second phase of Viladecans Business Park and comprises four independent buildings designed to foster innovation and attract technology companies. A3, a publicly developed building, offers 8,806 square metres across four floors. It is a smart, sustainable building powered by renewable energy and equipped with high-speed connectivity. Located approximately twenty minutes from Barcelona, the Business Park is also home to companies such as Vueling, Unilever Spain and Ingram Micro.

The inauguration was attended by the Mayor of Viladecans, Olga Morales Segura.

"Today, we have more than 455 professionals in Spain, and our recruitment rate has more than doubled in recent years. This new office is a direct result of that growth. Spain is a strategic market for the group, and we will continue to invest in our teams, closer relationships with clients and our delivery capabilities," says Sérgio Pena Dias, Chairman of Timestamp.

"Behind these figures is a team that has earned the trust of our clients and successfully attracted talent. This new space, located in an environment designed for technology companies, provides us with the conditions to continue growing and to strengthen our proximity to the businesses we work with in Catalonia," he adds.
