Timestamp joined the 3rd IT Security Conference 2024 as a Silver Partner, while sponsoring a roundtable discussion focused on the EU’s NIS2 directive.
We were proud to join the 3rd IT Security Conference 2024 as a Silver Partner, bringing together experts and companies to explore the latest in cybersecurity.
We also sponsored a roundtable on preparing businesses for the EU’s NIS2 directive, engaging with over 450 attendees on this crucial topic.
Nuno Dias, Managing Partner at Timestamp, took part in a panel discussion with Sérgio Almeida, IT & Cyber Director at NAV, Joana Mota Agostinho, Partner at Cuatrecasas, and Ricardo Figueiredo, Cybersecurity Expert at ENISA, where they tackled the game-changing impact of the NIS2 directive on strengthening cybersecurity across Europe’s critical infrastructure.
As Nuno explained, there is “a growing focus on implementing ISO 27001, the leading information security framework, alongside automated security management tools like ISMS.” He also highlighted that while traditional presentations can work for certain groups, younger teams tend to engage better with interactive approaches like gamification and friendly team competitions.
These elements are vital for preparing for NIS2 since, as Nuno stressed, “Cyber risk management needs to be continuous and adaptable to digital change and business impact.” He added that having a cohesive strategy to unify all security measures “allows for a solid, well-integrated security policy.”
