On the 2nd of October, we sponsored the Digital Leader Panel during the parallel sessions on the Future of Digital Infrastructure & Cloud. The discussion focused on: “Unlocking the Potential of AI and Data to Enhance Customer Value and Insight.”

Nuno Carvalho, Associated Partner at IDC Consulting and Partner at Zertive Consulting, moderated the session. We were joined by Bruno Tinoco from Novobanco’s Data Science & AI department, Ana Martins, Partner of Privacy & Governance Solutions at Timestamp, and Márcio Monteiro, Director of the Data & AI Excellence Centre, also at Timestamp.

In a packed auditorium, we tackled the technical, regulatory, and ethical hurdles that come with AI-powered personalisation—a game-changer for businesses striving to better understand and meet their customers’ needs.

Márcio Monteiro shared, “AI is transforming not just document management but also how businesses can use AI models to deliver real-time personalised recommendations and actionable insights.”

But, as Ana Martins pointed out, “To turn these challenges into opportunities, we need to balance innovation with regulatory compliance, ensuring that data collection, integration, and analysis doesn’t compromise customer security or privacy.”
