Senior Umbraco/.Net Developer

Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the content model (document types, compositions, data types).

  • Develop Razor views, templates, layouts, and reusable content components using Umbraco.

  • Apply and respect an existing Design System (tokens, components, spacing, typography) when implementing pages and components.

  • Integrate Umbraco with external REST/JSON APIs and backend services.

  • Focus on performance, scalability, security, reliability, and technical SEO at application level.

  • Collaborate with Tech Lead, UX/UI, QA, and DevOps in an Agile setup.

  • Consume Figma UX/UI designs to implement the frontend in Razor views.

  • Contribute to coding standards, best practices, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines

Main Skills:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in .NET / C# web development (ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core).

  • Proven experience in end-to-end delivery, not only maintenance.

  • Experience across the full development lifecycle: internal QA validation, client UAT, and production releases.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Umbraco CMS – traditional MVC/Razor: Document types, data types, compositions; Razor views, controllers / Surface Controllers, partial views; Media and content structure management.

  • Good knowledge of Razor, HTML5 and CSS3 (enough to implement layouts provided by UX/UI).

  • Experience with Git (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server / Azure SQL).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar).

  • Experience working in Agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Ability to read and implement Figma designs at implementation level, aligned with a Design System.

Nice-to-have: 
  • Knowledge of Umbraco Headless / Heartcore or other headless architectures.

  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure (App Service/Web Apps, Azure SQL, Application Insights, environment config).

  • Experience with automated testing (unit/integration) in .NET.

  • Good understanding of web application security (OWASP, secure coding, secrets management).

  • Good level of spoken and written English.
