Profile

For orientation purposes, I would currently think of a strong medior to senior Azure Data Engineer/ Integration Engineer.

Technical Capabilities

The most important technical capabilities would be strong hands-on experience with:

• Azure Data Factory

• REST API integrations

• Azure SQL / T-SQL

• Azure Logic Apps

• Azure Storage

• Azure Key Vault

• JSON/API payload processing

• OAuth 2.0 and token/API-key based authentication

• Incremental data ingestion patterns

• Logging, monitoring and error handling

• Git / Azure DevOps / CI-CD

Experience

Experience with Shopify APIs, e-commerce, logistics/WMS platforms or similar SaaS integrations would be particularly valuable.

Role Focus

We are specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on integration engineering capabilities, rather than a profile primarily focused on Power BI/reporting, data science or Databricks.

The engineer should be capable of taking an unfamiliar SaaS application, reviewing its API documentation, proposing an appropriate ingestion approach, identifying technical or data-quality issues, implementing the solution and documenting it with a reasonable degree of independence.
